Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 12, 2026
PDF Online Tools provides browser-based and app-based PDF utilities for compressing, converting, scanning, signing, editing, and organizing PDF files. This policy explains how the website and mobile app handle files, camera access, local storage, and advertising.
Files and PDF Processing
PDF files, images, Word documents, Excel files, and PowerPoint files selected in the app are processed on your device or in your current browser/app session. We do not create public file links, shared file queues, or user accounts that expose one user's files to another user.
Camera and Photos
The Scan to PDF feature may ask for access to your camera or selected photos so you can create a PDF from paper documents, receipts, forms, notes, or images. Camera and photo access is used only when you choose to scan or select images. The app does not use the camera in the background.
Downloads and Local Files
Generated PDFs may be saved to your device, shared through your device's share sheet, or downloaded through the browser. These files remain under your control on your device.
Advertising
PDF Online Tools may show ads provided by Google. Google and its partners may use cookies, device identifiers, and similar technologies to provide, measure, and improve ads, subject to Google's own policies. You can learn more at Google Advertising Policies.
Data We Do Not Collect
- We do not require an account to use the tools.
- We do not sell your uploaded or generated documents.
- We do not intentionally collect the contents of your PDFs for profiling or resale.
Third-Party Services
The app may load third-party services for advertising or platform functionality. Those services may process technical information such as device type, IP address, app/browser information, and ad interaction data.
Children
PDF Online Tools is intended as a general productivity utility and is not directed to children under 13.
